Remote Visa

Remote Work visa

The Virtual Working Program, often referred to as a Remote Work Visa, allows individuals to live and work remotely in the UAE for a period of 12 months without the requirement of maintaining a physical office or workplace in the country. This program is particularly designed for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and professionals employed outside the UAE who meet the qualifying criteria. Foreigners holding valid work visas from their home country can apply for this one-year visa, granting them the flexibility to enter the UAE at their convenience and engage in employment in line with the visa’s terms and conditions.

It is important to recognize that the UAE offers a wide variety of visas, each serving a different purpose. Those seeking employment with an Emirati company must obtain the appropriate UAE work visa, while individuals wishing to continue independent work can consider applying for a freelancer visa. Despite differences in terminology, the essence of the Virtual Working Program remains the same—it is a remote work visa option that provides global professionals, including entrepreneurs and employees of foreign companies, the opportunity to experience life and work in the UAE.
